Book an inspection

From the first phone call to the last pier, here is what a foundation job in Round Rock actually involves and what Round Rock Foundation Repairs needs from you at each stage.
Tell us what you are seeing and roughly when it started. Photos of the cracks and the year the house was built help us plan the visit.
Floor elevations are taken room by room, the outside is walked for grading and drainage, and the crawl space is checked if there is one.
You are shown where the house sits low, what is most likely causing it, and what a repair would involve. Scope, pier type and warranty terms are written on the quote.
Piers go in and the house is raised as far as it can safely come. Afterwards you are told what to watch and how to keep the soil moisture steady.
Elevation readings come first, because they turn opinions into numbers. From there the inspector walks the outside for grading, gutters, downspout outlets and trees close to the slab, then looks at the cracks themselves: where they start, which way they run and whether they are wider at the top or the bottom.
If the house has a crawl space, the beams, joists and interior supports get checked from underneath. If there is any sign that water has been escaping under the slab, that gets looked into before piers are quoted, because lifting a house over a leaking line only buys time.
You can read what the readings usually mean in our guide to which foundation cracks matter, or book the visit itself on the inspection page.
Some situations call for an independent structural engineer rather than a repair contractor: a sale where the buyer or lender wants a third-party opinion, a disagreement about whether work is needed at all, or a plan that involves changing the structure. An engineer works for you, not for the company doing the repair, and produces a written report with recommendations. Round Rock Foundation Repairs is happy to work from one.
Warranty terms belong in writing on the quote. Ask what is covered, what voids it, whether it moves to the next owner and what an annual check involves. Read them before you sign rather than after, and keep the paperwork with the house.
If you are weighing pier types before the visit, our pier comparison lays out the trade-offs. Otherwise, see the full list of services or request a visit.
One visit, real measurements and a written quote before any decision.
